I'm a Kentucky boy with Cincinnati roots. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, but Kentucky has always held a special place in my heart.

I'm a lifelong sports fan. I love my Kentucky Wildcats, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals. I've learned a lot about patience, perseverance, and disappointment from being a fan of all three!

I started in ministry pretty young. I began serving in church ministry at 19 and became a pastor at 20. Looking back, I'm amazed at how much I thought I knew and how much I still had to learn.

Family is a big part of my life. Melissa and I have been married since 1985. We have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren. Being a husband, dad, and grandfather is one of my greatest joys.

Music has always been part of my life. Before becoming a pastor, I served in music and youth ministry. I've always enjoyed singing and the role music plays in worship
I'm Will Langford, and I'm glad you've taken a few moments to learn more about STEADFAST Leadership.
For more than 40 years, I've had the privilege of serving in pastoral ministry. During those years, I've pastored churches in Ohio, Kentucky, and Virginia, walking alongside congregations through seasons of growth, transition, revitalization, and change. I've experienced many of the joys that come with being a pastor, but I've also faced the challenges, disappointments, and pressures that are part of leading a local church.
More recently, I've had the opportunity to serve with the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, working with pastors and helping them navigate the challenges of ministry while encouraging their spiritual, personal, and leadership health.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Cumberlands, along with a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I'm also a certified coach, but I believe some of the most valuable lessons I've learned have come from the everyday experiences of serving as a pastor.
My wife, Melissa, and I have been married since 1985. We have two wonderful daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren who bring us a great deal of joy.
I started STEADFAST Leadership because I have a genuine desire to see pastors flourish in the life and calling God has given them. I want to come alongside ministry leaders, encourage them, help them work through difficult decisions, and equip them to lead healthy change without losing themselves, their people, or their ministry.
If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that pastors need someone in their corner, too. That's what I hope STEADFAST Leadership can be for you.
